We recognize that travel has changed as a result of COVID-19 and we want to assure you we are here to help you have a safe and wonderful experience. We will work with you should your vacation to Maui get cancelled due to COVID. We want to give you the peace of mind to travel while protecting your hard-earned vacation dollars.

We are a small family-run company and really appreciate your understanding that we incur many expenses in preparing for these tours. Our terms and conditions and cancellation policy reflect this. If you are unable to join your tour as planned, we will provide any paperwork needed for your insurance claim, should you wish to reclaim any retained travel or tour costs. 

Our kayak can hold up to 250/seat or 425/kayak. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate those weighing over this amount as it could damage our kayaks and is unsafe.

For active paddling our age limit is 8+ is required. If your child does not meet this criteria and you're confident in your child's swimming ability and ocean awareness, we can discuss having them ride along in the kayak. Please contact us prior to booking for confirmation.

Spray sunscreen and other harmful, non-reef safe sunscreen is strictly prohibited in the kayaks or on the beach around our gear. Not only does it kill our reefs but it damages our equipment too.  

Although sticking to the original schedule is of utmost importance to Boomkanani, so is the safety of your tour based on weather conditions. If weather conditions are unacceptable at your original meeting point your guide will call to let you know of a close alternative tour location or ask to change the day of your tour if weather conditions are inclement across West Maui. If we cannot find an acceptable alternative day & time, a full refund will be provided

With safety in mind, we reserve the right to refuse service based on breaking kayak criteria (such as weight) or swimming abilities during snorkel sessions. If there is concern over abilities during the trip, the guide reserves the right to instruct an individual to return to shore. This will be at the discretion of the guide based on conditions and experience. 

Boomkanani Inshore Adventure Club reserves the right to take photographic or film records of any of its tours. Trip members should be aware that we may use these photos or film for promotional and or commercial purposes without remuneration to the trip participants

With close to 1,000 whales in the water around West Maui at any given time, humpback sightings are a regular occurrence. Although they are plentiful, we cannot guarantee you will see a whale on your tour with us.

Less than 24 hours = 0 refund
